Veriant Solutions is currently looking for Mid to Senior level Software Engineers for a top client in the Cyber Security industry. The positions are designed to transform the way companies manage information security and compliance.
Responsibilities will include:
• Building new product offerings
• Enhancing existing products and tools
• Working with distributed teams in a dynamic, iterative development process
• Designing and developing application & framework code in Java, Flex and other object-oriented programming languages
• Create functional test suites and work with internal QA team on testing
Requirements:
• Strong object-oriented design and Java programming skills , including experience with leading open source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate and JUnit
• Experience developing web services using XML-RPC, SOAP or REST approaches
• Experience building large scale, high availability applications
• Experience developing rich application UIs using Adobe Flex (highly preferred)
• Familiarity with C/C++ or other object-oriented languages such as Groovy, Python, Ruby
• Relational DBMS skills using MySQL, PostgreSQL or other DBMS products
• BS in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred)
• Familiarity with security (not required)
Position requires occasional short term travel. Background check is also required.
