The Contract Processing Specialist is an integral role in ensuring contracted products and services are accurately billed to customers and properly reflected in our accounting system for delivery purposes.  Acts as the main point of contact for all internal and external customers related to the billing and contract details of assigned accounts.  The position is responsible for updating and maintaining the contracts management system for the accounts receivable team.  Candidate must possess the ability to read and interpret legal contracts as they relate to billing information and be proficient in analyzing data using software tools.

 

Required Skills/qualifications:

·       Strong research and analytical skills

·       Ability to work independently exercising strong judgment and decision-making abilities

·       Ability to retrieve and analyze complex data from accounts receivable software package

·       Knowledge of invoicing processes required

·       Superior organizational and problem solving abilities

·       Enthusiasm to be a team player and assist others when necessary

·       Ability to escalate out of the ordinary problems and assist in resolution

·       Strong attention to detail and must be goal oriented

·       Commitment to excellent customer service

·       Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

·       Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

·       Ability to read and interpret legal contracts as they relate to billing information

Preferred Skills:

·       Siebel, Oracle and Salesforce.com experience preferred

·       Experience with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
