You will primarily support data quality initiatives to drive accuracy, consistency, and completeness of enriched data through management and maintenance of supplier catalog information. On a day to day basis, you can expect to:
· Manage and maintain database based on defined standards relative to Medical Surgical devices and supplies in order to ensure data quality for the customer base
· Validate and maintain transactional data elements
· Work in conjunction with other team members, as well as provider or supplier customers, to ensure timely delivery of accurate data
· Perform ad hoc queries on multiple large data sets to identify data issues and initiate corrective action
· Contribute to the development of standards, processes, and procedures that support Content Operations goals and objectives
· Coordinates and facilitates professional relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to serve as provider/supplier advocate in relation to medical product data quality.
What You Bring:
You are organized, detail oriented and proficient in analyzing and managing data. You have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems or a healthcare-related discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare purchasing , materials management or supply chain at a hospital or healthcare organization, data management or related field
· An intermediate degree of proficiency in MS Excel
· Medical product and terminology knowledge
· Strong customer service & communication skills
· Supply chain knowledge (preferred)
· SQL and/or MS Access experience (preferred)
