One of our best clients has an open role for a Construction Scheduler in the Austin, TX area. This is an amazing opportunity to get your foot in the door with a top consulting company in the telecommunications/construction industry.
What You'll Do:
You will work with a team of contractors to schedule all projects for one major client in the Austin, TX area. You will be the go-to person for timeline details and updates on all the projects and subprojects. On a day to day basis you can expect to:
- Manage schedules for all projects/builds throughout the city.
- Work with different software and platforms to extract dates for multiple different projects.
- Coordinate with various contractors to confirm and update schedule details.
- Streamline all project schedules into a consistent format for the client.
- Be the subject matter expert of P6 and Primavera software.
- Meet with client every week to update them on the status and schedule of all projects.
Who You Are:
You are a master of P6 - you can jump into a project and manage the schedule on P6 with ease. You are a people person who feels comfortable interacting with people at all levels of an organization. You have:
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in scheduling with P6 software.
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Experience managing multiple projects at once, each with several subprojects.
- Experience with Visio, Excel, and Smartsheet (strongly preferred).
- Ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running!
